Missions Projects – Making a Difference

At Samaria Baptist Church we believe in giving of ourselves both financially and through service to others. Our mission projects support the work of organizations in our local community and throughout the world.
Giving of our financial resources is accomplished through our annual budget planning as well as through individual giving and support. Some of the organizations we support through our budget include SBC Cooperative Programs such as
  • Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
  • Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
  • NC Missions (WMU and NCBM)
  • RBA Associational Missions
  • Local Missions (NC Food Bank; food pantries, and others)
  • SBC World Hunger Fund
  • Baptist Children’s Homes of NC
  • Baptist Retirement Homes of NC
  • NC Baptist Hospital
Samaria Baptist Church is also proud to support The Lighthouse School in Gaza through the Raleigh Baptist Men. This important ministry provides educations and Christian teaching to children in Gaza.

Bundle of Joy Ministry

Samaria Baptist has recently launched participation in a new mission project called “Bundle of Joy Ministry”. This will be an ongoing mission through The Raleigh Baptist Association helping moms-to-be to gather the needed supplies for their new “Bundle of Joy”. A baby cradle will is located inside the church connector where you can put your donations in the cradle. Each month the contents of the cradle will be taken to The Raleigh Baptist Association for them to deliver to the moms-to-be.
